We aren’t in the roofing business by accident. Over 30 years ago Grandpa Mattern spotted a need for trustworthy, respectable roofing contractors in Central Pennsylvania.

In 1985 he dove right in and started Central Penn Roofing. Almost immediately he learned about the Duro-Last roof system and became a certified contactor. In 1994, Andy Ney and Andy Mattern, the son and son-in-law of Grandpa Mattern took on bigger roles within the company and changed the name to A&A Contracting, Inc. After many summers working on roofs, then graduating college with a Degree in Business Management, Mackenzie Ney was proud to become an Owner of A&A Contracting after Andy stepped back.
